Whether you have questions about the FAFSA, student loans, grants, or scholarships, we’re here to help! Our office hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. We can be reached by phone, contact form, or stop by to chat in person!

For General Questions: check out our Frequently Asked Questions or call one of the main office numbers listed below! Our incredibly knowledgeable office assistants are available to answer questions from 8:30am-4:30pm Monday through Friday. You can also submit your questions online using our Contact Form! You should receive a response within 1-3 business days. If our office assistants are not able to answer your question, they will help connect you with the appropriate person to assist you.

The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships is located on the UMBC Main Campus, in the Albin O. Kuhn Library, Lower Level, Pondside (right next to Undergraduate Admissions).
Our address is 1000 Hilltop Circle, Baltimore, MD 21250. The nearest parking lots with spots for visitors are the Walker Avenue Garage and Lot 7 on Walker Avenue. UMBC requires anyone parking on campus to have a valid UMBC parking permit, or to parking in one of the “Pay-to-Park” visitor spaces. Visitor parking is $2.00 per hour and payable by Credit Card using the ParkMobile app. Note: parking regulations are enforced Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM year round.

Helpful Hint! UMBC only has one address for the whole campus! To get your preferred GPS to direct you to our front door, trying searching “UMBC Financial Aid Office” instead of “UMBC”
If you are mailing something to us, make sure to include our office name in the address!
Financial Aid
Students are encouraged to work directly with their Financial Aid Counselor. Counselors are assigned based on the first letter of the student’s last name.
